Metroblogger Alex likes Om Seafood on Powell:
The salt and pepper prawns were delicate, the onions and peppers perfectly cooked with a crisp bite and that wonderful flavor of salty, spicy, peppery mix. The friend dumplings were a bit doughy. But, though the waitress did not recommend the Hong Kong assorted vegetables because they were very chinese, we loved the mix of tarot [sic] root, tofu, oyster mushrooms and cellophane noodles mixed in a light brown gravy.
It's apparently Hong Kong style, which is harder to find in town, and is JJ's favorite. We'll have to check it out, we've only driven past there a hundred times and wondered. We're way too stuck in our usual pattern.
